Since I’m shadowbanned from the front page, I figured I’d bring the conversation over here where I can actually speak. Anyway, I’m talking about this:

Now, I have a healthy disdain for probably at least half of the population of this planet, and have a history of not having a problem bringing violence or helping to bring violence on others due to a military background. I wish we could go back in time to when you could smack people for being assholes, and you wouldn’t get sued for finishing a fight someone else started with you.
But man, stuff like this about animals makes me sick to my stomach. I actually feel ill after reading that article. :( I guess I have far more compassion for fuzzy (and non-fuzzy) critters than I do for mankind.

Seemed like pretty reprehensible behavior to me. I work with rodents in my job, and I hate them all. However, I know how to treat them humanely. There are more merciful ways to kill one if you really need to than drowning like that.

As I posted on another thread, it most likely survived the flush to face a far more drawn out death. Not humane at all.

Absent any corroborating evidence, I don’t think she actually flushed the hamster, and that she’s another “I’ll be internet famous for acting like an asshat!” tool.

It’s fucked up to even suggest that someone flush a hamster down the toilet. It’s even more fucked up to follow through on that advice.
